Luxor is made up of three different areas; the City of Luxor on the east side of the Nile, the town of Karnak just north of Luxor and Thebes on the west side of the Nile.Often called “the world’s greatest open-air museum” Luxor has an unparalleled number of monuments including Karnak - a vast, ancient religious complex.  This is one of the premier sites in all of Egypt and one of the most visited.  The Valley of The Kings is another important site. The usual variety of Egyptian souvenirs can be found in one of many bazaars and alabaster, from local factories, is of special interest.  Our Nile Cruises depart from Luxor
