With three championship courses on the island, Cyprus is becoming increasingly popular for golfing holidays. All three are within reasonably close proximity of each other yet are markedly different in aspect and each enjoys an excellent variety of challenging holes and beautiful views.
Where to stay
Paphos is the closest major resort to the golf courses, which are within approximately 20 minutes drive and from Limassol the courses are just 30 - 50 minute’s drive. Cyplon offers a great variety of accommodation to suite all tastes and pockets, from luxury 5* hotels to modest apartments in each resort. The village of Pissouri is also very close by and has a 3* hotel and a deluxe beach resort, both of which offer a limited shuttle service to and from the courses. Those wishing to sample the rural and traditional Cypriot way of life could opt for one of our Village Houses at Anoyira or Goudi villages, both in the Paphos region, which come with a car included in the holiday price.
Getting around
We recommend car hire for getting around in Cyprus, and we can arrange this free during most of the winter season! Only insurance is payable at CY£5.75 per day. We also have some very attractive special offers during summer! As in the UK, driving is on the left. Alternatively, taxis are relatively cheap and can be arranged by your hotel and the golf courses.
