São Lourenço Do Barrocal

This five-star hotel and farming estate in Monsaraz in eastern Portugal occupies up to 2,000 acres of land and features a winery, two restaurants, a spa and a farm village, which has been cultivating its own produce since 1820. It has been lovingly restored to preserve its 19th century charm and architecture. There are 57 rooms in nine categories, ranging from 50-60m2 farm rooms to spacious three-bedroom barn cottages. The local winery offers tours and wine tasting sessions, while the two restaurants offer traditional cuisine, with ingredients sourced from an organic garden and other local producers.
