Day 1 | Arrival in Athens
Arrival in to Athens airport, where you will be transferred to your city hotel for check-in and overnight.

Day 2 | Athens
After Breakfast, you will be taken on an Athens sightseeing tour with a tour of the Acropolis and the new museum.

Day 3 | Corinth - Nafplio - Olympia
Leave by the coastal road to the Corinth Canal and then visit the Theatre of Epidauros. Visit the town of Nafplion then drive on to Mycenae to see the archaeological sites and the Tomb of Agamemnon. Depart for Olympia, cradle of the ancient Olympic Games. Dinner & overnight.

Day 4 | Olympia - Delphi
Visit the sites of Olympian Zeus, the Ancient Stadium and the Archaeological Museum. Drive on through the plains of Ilia and Achaia. Pass by the picturesque towns of Nafpactos and Itea, arrive in Delphi. Dinner & overnight.

Day 5 | Delphi - Kalambaka - Meteora
Visit the archaeological sites and the Museum of Delphi. Depart for Kalambaka, a small town at the foot of the astonishing Meteora. Dinner & overnight.

Day 6 | Meteora - Thessaloniki
Visit the Meteora: perched on top of huge rocks, where you can see exquisite specimens of Byzantine art. Drive through the striking plain of Thessaly and the Valley of Tempi. Arrive at Thessaloniki, the second largest and the most vibrant city in Greece. Dinner & overnight.

Day 7 | Thessaloniki
Visit the city that throughout the era of the Byzantine Empire was the “co-reigning” city, second in population and prestige only to Constantinople. Visit unique monuments and feel the glorious Byzantine past in some of the oldest churches of the Christian world as well as in the Museum of Byzantine Culture. Free time for the rest of the day. Dinner & overnight.

Day 8 | Edessa - Vergina - Thessaloniki
Depart in the morning for Macedonia. First stop at picturesque Edessa. Proceed to Naoussa to Aristotle’s School. Drive to Vergina to visit the unique Museum, created in the Great Tumulus. Visit St Paul’s Bema, and then stroll through the old Jewish neighbourhood and the colourful market area. Return to Thessaloniki. Dinner & overnight.

Day 9 | Thessaloniki - Pella - Athens
Drive to Pella, the capital of Alexander the Great. See the exquisite floor mosaics of the 4th century B.C. villas. Then proceed to the Archaeological Park of Dion (sacred city of the Macedonians, at the foot of mountain Olympus). Driving south and through Thessaly, Lamia, Thermopylae (see the Leonidas’ Monument) and Thebes. Arrive in Athens late in the afternoon.

Day 10 | Depart Athens
After Breakfast, check-out and transfer to Athens airport for your flight home.
