Cyplon Holidays offers a choice of 6 carefully Nile Cruise ships in order to offer our clients the very best choices at different price levels. All the cruises we offer are either based on Full Board or All Inclusive.
Whilst most Nile Cruise itineraries are generally similar, each ship will follow a slightly different route and provide a slightly different perspective for this great River and its gems. A standard itinerary will last for 7 nights with embarkation either on a Monday or Wednesday with the ship sailing the following day. Some ships may also offer a 4 night itinerary. All of our Nile Cruise holidays include land excursions and extra excursions including the Luxor and Aswan Sound & Light Show and Abu Simbel can be pre-booked via our Reservations team.
The Valley of the Kings is where over 60tombs were built for the pharaohs as aburial ground with the most important pharaohs having the largest tombs such as the one of Pharaoh Tutankhamun.
Abu Simbel features two temples were created throughout the ruling of Ramesses II, and were built to celebrate Ramesses’ victory over the Hittites at the Battle of Kadesh in 1274 BCE.Abu Simbel can be added onto any NileCruise we offer, at an extra supplement.
Luxor temple is a large ancient Egyptian temple located on the east bank of the Nile River and was founded in 1400BCE. The temple is 850 feet long and213 feet wide across the front.
Edfu temple is one of the best preserved temples in Egypt and is dedicated to the falcon god Horus, and built in the Ptolemaic period, and has a pylon that is thought to be the highest out of all the remaining temples in Egypt.
The valley of the queens was where the wives of the pharaohs and some royal children of the 9th and 20th dynasties were buried. It’s located on the west Bank at Luxor and contains between 75and 80 tombs.
Karnak is a city of temples built over2000 years ago and was dedicated to the Theban triad of Amun, Mutand Khonsu. It is the largest religious building ever made, covering 200 acres.
The modern Egyptian village Esna was built in ancient Latopolis and is where a major temple dedicated to the god Khnum, is situated. Khnum was a god of the Nile who moulded the ‘ka’ on his potter’s wheel.
There are two temples at Ombo, both made of the stone obtained from theneighbouring area of Hadjar-selseleh.The grander one of the two standsupon the top of a sandy hill and wasdedicated to Aroeres.
