Athens (Piraeus) - Mykonos

Day 1 | Friday

After embarking in Athens and meeting crew and fellow visitors, we depart for the beautiful Cycladic island of Mykonos, which according to mythology, was formed by the bodies of giants slain by Hercules. Look out for the iconic row of immaculate white windmills overlooking the bay as we approach and be sure to take a photo (everybody does!) Explore the many charms of the The Old Town's maze of streets and alleyways, full of enticing cafes and tavernas.

Kusadasi - Patmos

Day 2 | Saturday

Morning arrival in the lively Turkish beach resort of Kusadasi, where you will enjoy a complimentary excursion to one of the unquestionable highlights of our cruise, the ancient ruins of Ephesus. Fascinating and beautiful throughout, the site of this former Hellenisitic city is particularly famed as being home to one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Temple of Artemis. Next, we visit Patmos, a smaller Dodecanese island with a charm all its own and famed for being the supposed location of the vision to John the Baptist in the Book of Revelations, where it was written.

Day 3 | Sunday

Arrive in Crete*, Greece’s largest island and fabled location of many myths and legends, and visit the island's capital of Heraklion and absorb some of its fascinating history. Next, we head to the unmistakable island of Santorini, whose breathtaking landscapes and whitewashed clifftop buildings are sure to enchant. Visit the iconic blue-domed church as you explore at your leisure or relax in one of the many restaurants along the edge of the caldera. *Please note, selected departures in March and November do not visit Crete and visit Santorini only on day 3 - see departure dates above for details.

We will be spending the day in Rhodes, exploring the charming historic Old Town and enjoying a complimentary excursion to the whitewashed town of Lindos with it's ancient fortifications and plenty of opportunities to pick up some souvenirs. Although the island's own Seventh Wonder, The Colossus of Rhodes, no longer guards the harbour, you will be experience being transported back through the ages in the scenic Old Town's labyrinth of cobbled streets, leading down to the crystal clear waters, glorious beaches and lush wooded valleys that are now part of Rhodes' modern legend.
