Legend has it that this Riad, located in the heart of the Medina of Marrakech, was once owned by a wealthy widower, an art trader, and his 7 daughters each of whom specialised in a separate art form. The rooms became workshops for them to express their creativity and the riad became a renowned meeting place for artists and travellers. Nowadays, Riad Le Clos Des Arts combines this creative heritage and Moroccan hospitality to welcome between 17-20 guests at its 9 sumptuous rooms and suites, all designed and furnished in authentic Moroccan style. There are two traditional courtyards with fountains and lush trees on the ground floor, a fireside lounge and library, plus plenty of cosy nooks and comfortable alcoves to escape to and relax in. The roof terrace offers outdoor dining (weather permitting) and there's a small plunge pool and solarium area with sunbeds. There's also a bijou in-house, solar-powered spa offering traditional hammam experiences and relaxing massages. A varied and rich Moroccan breakfast is provided and sumptuous traditional specialities for dinner are cooked on order only. This beautiful and warm Riad in a superb quiet but central location, prides itself on offering its guests an intimate home away from home with discreet service to meet every need.

There are just 9 rooms and suites at this riad which can accommodate up to 17 guests (up to 20 if suites are used as triple rooms). There is 1 deluxe suite and 2 suites, 3 deluxe double rooms, 2 superior double rooms and 1 small single room (ideal for solo travellers). Each room is individually designed and adorned with unique Moroccan furnishings and art.
