Day 1 | Arrival in Cairo
Arrive in the captivating city of Cairo, where ancient history and modern life collide. You’ll be met and assisted upon arrival at the airport before transferring to your hotel to rest and settle in after your journey. If time permits, enjoy an optional evening Nile dinner cruise (additional cost), drifting along the illuminated river as traditional music and dancing bring Cairo’s vibrant nightlife to life.

Day 2 | Explore Cairo
After breakfast, set out on a full day of exploration starting with one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World — the Great Pyramids of Giza. Marvel at these monumental tombs, the mysterious Sphinx, and the Valley Temple nearby. You’ll have the chance to enjoy an optional camel ride (additional cost) across the desert sands or step inside the Great Pyramid itself for a deeper sense of ancient mystery. Later, visit the Egyptian Museum, home to an extraordinary collection of artefacts including treasures from Tutankhamun’s tomb. In the evening, return to your hotel to relax or explore Cairo’s buzzing streets and bazaars at leisure.

Day 3 | Aswan for Nile Cruise
This morning, take a short flight south to Aswan, where your Nile adventure begins. Visit the majestic Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis and beautifully relocated to Agilkia Island. Continue to the High Dam, a marvel of modern engineering, and the Unfinished Obelisk, offering insight into ancient stone-carving techniques. Embark on your elegant Nile cruise vessel in time for lunch. As the sun sets over the river, enjoy dinner on board as your journey through Egypt’s ancient heart begins.

Day 4 | Kom Ombo - Edfu
Sail north along the tranquil Nile, stopping first at Kom Ombo, a unique double temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus. Explore the fascinating reliefs and ancient healing instruments before continuing your voyage to Edfu. Here, ride by horse-drawn carriage through the town to visit the Temple of Horus, one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples, known for its soaring columns and vivid hieroglyphs. Return to the ship for a leisurely evening with views of river life drifting by.

Day 5 | Luxor
Today brings you to Luxor, the world’s greatest open-air museum. Cross to the West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings, where the pharaohs were laid to rest in richly decorated tombs. Visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, an architectural marvel carved into the cliffs, and see the imposing Colossi of Memnon.
