Day 1 | Arrival in Catania
Arrival in Catania and transfer to the hotel (check-in available from 4:00 p.m.). Before dinner, meet the tour guide for a welcome presentation. Dinner and overnight stay in Catania, Giardini Naxos, or the surrounding area.

Day 2 | Syracuse - Noto
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Syracuse for a guided visit of the historic centre of Ortigia, including the Temple of Minerva and the Arethusa Fountain. Continue to the archaeological park to see the Greek Theatre, Roman Amphitheatre, Latomie, and the Ear of Dionysus. Lunch during the excursion. In the afternoon, explore Noto, an authentic jewel of Sicilian Baroque architecture. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight in the Catania, Giardini Naxos, or surrounding area.

Day 3 | Giarre - Catania - Palermo
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning visit to the Radicepura Botanical Park in Giarre, home to more than 3,000 plant species across 5 hectares. Continue to Catania for a walking tour of the historic centre and enjoy a seasonal local street food tasting (arancini, ice cream, or granita). Lunch included. Afternoon transfer to Palermo or the surrounding area, check-in at the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 4 | Palermo, Monreale - Cefalù
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Monreale for a visit to the magnificent Cathedral and Benedictine Cloister. Return to Palermo for a walking tour of the historic centre, including Palermo Cathedral, the Quattro Canti, and Pretoria Square with the famous Fountain of Shame. Visit a noble residence once belonging to Palermo’s aristocracy, often used as film settings. Continue to Cefalù for lunch and a guided visit of this charming coastal town, followed by free time. Return to the hotel in Palermo or surroundings for dinner and overnight.

Day 5 | Erice - Marsala - Selinunte - Agrigento
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning departure to Erice* for an orientation tour and tasting of traditional almond sweets (*in case of road closure, Trapani will be visited instead). Continue to Marsala for a winery visit with a tasting. Lunch during the excursion. Afternoon visit of the eastern hill of Selinunte. Travel onward to Agrigento, hotel check-in, dinner, and overnight. After dinner, enjoy a panoramic night tour of the illuminated Valley of the Temples.

Day 6 | Agrigento - Piazza Armerina
Breakfast at the hotel followed by a guided tour of the Valley of the Temples. Continue to Piazza Armerina for an “Ancient Rome” themed lunch, then visit the Roman Villa del Casale, world-renowned for its stunning mosaics. Transfer back to Eastern Sicily, check-in at the hotel in the Catania area, Giardini Naxos or surroundings, dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 7 | Mount Etna - Taormina
Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to Mount Etna with a coach ascent to 1,900 m. Option to continue further (with a direct payment supplement) by all-terrain bus and authorized guide to reach the main craters. Sample local honey and enjoy lunch during the excursion. In the afternoon, visit Taormina, including its Ancient Theater, with free time to explore. Return to the hotel in the Catania, Giardini Naxos, or surrounding area for dinner and overnight stay. (In case of adverse weather, the excursion will reach 700 m, stopping at Zafferana Etnea to view the remains of the 1992 eruption.)

Day 8 | Depart from Catania
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and transfer to the airport.
