Location
Coral Bay is a popular tourist resort, which lies 6 km from the city of Paphos. It is characterised by its beautiful sandy beaches and rocky coasts, which make it ideal for scuba diving and other aquatic activities, ideal also for anyone on a group holiday. It is also close to the Akamas Peninsula, which cradles the Cypriot coast and provides a vast array of beautiful nature. It is easily accessible from Paphos International Airport lying around 28 km away, which translates to a 35-minute drive.

With a range of different cuisines, dining in Coral Bay will appeal to all tastes, as an international tourist resort, there are plenty of restaurants offering international gastronomies, like Italian, French and Chinese. There are also plenty of local restaurants, which provide traditional Cypriot classics that have been influenced by the many different cultures that have existed on the island. Ouzo is probably the most famous Cypriot spirit and is traditionally consumed with mezes, an array of small delicacies made using fresh local produce (a bit like tapas). You will also find delicious kebabs in Coral Bay, cooked barbecue style over open fires. Along with the fresh golden olive oil and balsamic vinegar that accompanies every dish, fish and seafood, in general, are plentiful on the island, while local wine is also delicious and well-priced. Coral Bay and Cyprus as a whole, have different kinds of food to please every palate.
