Embarkation In Luxor

Day 1

On your arrival into Luxor airport you will be met & transferred to your chosen Nile Cruise boat for embarkation, followed by dinner on board and music at the bar. Overnight stay in Luxor.

Day 2

After breakfast on board you will explore the West Bank visiting Valley of Kings and Hatshepsut Temple. Day 3

Day 4

Tel El Amarna

Day 5

In the morning you will be sailing to Tel El Amarna with breakfast on board. On arrival at Asyout’s lock you will have lunch on board and pass the lock sailing to Tel El Amarna. You will arrive at Amarna in time to visit Amarna Visitor Centre with a presentation on Akhenaten and Nefertiti. This will then follow with a cooking lesson on board and dinner in the evening. Overnight in Tel El Amarna.

Day 6

Following your breakfast on board you will visit Tuna El Gebel & Ashmunein. Visit Tel El Amarna tombs, visit northern tombs Tomb of Ahmose (EA3), Tomb of Meryre (EA4), Tomb of Pentu (EA5), Tomb of Panehesy (EA6), and Royal Tomb of Akhenaten (EA26). The Great Palace of King Akhenaten, The Small and great temples of Aten (Approx. 3 hours visit). In the afternoon you will return to the boar for lunch and sail to Minya. In the evening you will enjoy dinner and a folkloric show on board. Overnight in Minya.

Tel El Amarna-Assyut

Day 7

In the morning you will be sailing to Tel El Amarna. You will arrive at Amarna in time to visit Amarna Visitor Centre with a presentation on Akhenaten and Nefertiti. From there you will visit to northern tombs Tomb of Ahmose (EA3), Tomb of Meryre (EA4), Tomb of Pentu (EA5), Tomb of Panehesy (EA6), Royal Tomb of Akhenaten (EA26). The Great Palace of King Akhenaten, The Small and great temples of Aten (Approx. 2:30 hours visit). In the afternoon you will return to the boat to have lunch on board and sail to Assyut where you will stop stop in front of Prince Tawdrous Monastery to view the monastery from the boat (guide will of course provide some explanation on the importance of the monastery). Dinner and Galabeya party on board. Overnight in Assyut.
