Flight into Tel Aviv Airport

Day 1 | Sunday

Depart from the UK for your flight to Tel Aviv. On arrival you will be met by a representative who will be holding a sign with your name on it, immediately after passport control. Our representative will guide you to pick up your baggage, after which you will be escorted via Customs to meet your driver who will transfer you to your hotel. You have your evening at leisure in Tel Aviv. Overnight stay in Tel Aviv.

Tel Aviv - Beer Sheba - Masada - Dead Sea

Day 2 | Monday

In the morning you will depart Tel Aviv passing by Ashdod and Ashkelon en-route to Be'er Sheva for a short visit to the capital of the Negev desert. Continue via Arad to Masada. Ascend by cable car to the fortress, the last stronghold of the Jewish Zealots in their war against the Romans. Explore the excavations, King Herod’s Palace, the synagogue, and bathhouse and enjoy views of the Roman camps and the Dead Sea. You will descend to the lowest place on Earth, the Dead Sea to possibly ‘float’ in the Dead Sea, weather permitting. Passing by the oasis of Ein Gedi, you will proceed through the Judean desert to Jerusalem. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Jerusalem - Bethlehem

Day 3 | Tuesday

Start the day at the Israel Museum’s 'Shrine of the Book' featuring the famous Dead Sea Scrolls, then on to the renovated model of the Herodian city of Jerusalem. Enjoy the picturesque village of Ein Karem (birthplace of John the Baptist), following your visit to Yad Vashem, the memorial to the Jewish victims of the Holocaust, established in 1953, located at the foot of Mt. Hertzl. You will then visit Bethlehem*, the birthplace of Jesus to visit the Church of Nativity and Manger Square. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Jerusalem Old City Tour

Day 4 | Wednesday

Enter through one of the gates of the walled Old City to visit the Western Wall and the Temple Mount. Walk along the Via Dolorosa to Calvary and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, housing both the traditional site of Crucifixion and the Tomb of the Resurrection. You will then drive to Mt. Zion to visit the Tomb of King David and the Room of the Last Supper. Enjoy panoramic views of Jerusalem from atop the Mount of Olives. Continue to the Garden of Gethsemane where Judas betrayed Jesus and then visit Mahane Yehuda to experience the largest open market in Israel. Overnight in Jerusalem.

Beit She'an - Nazareth - Safed

Day 5 | Thursday

Travel through the Jordan Valley to Beit She'an to visit the excavations of this beautifully preserved Roman city. Proceed to Nazareth to visit the Church of the Annunciation, before travelling to Safed, city of the Kabbalah and centre for Jewish mysticism, for a walk through the charming streets of the artists’ colony. Overnight in Tiberias.

Golan Heights - Sea Of Galilee

Day 6 | Friday

Drive to the Golan Heights to visit the former Syrian Fortifications and Druze Villages passing by Banias, the source of the Jordan River. Enjoy a tour of Israeli wine country and a wine-tasting experience, with vineyards surrounded by magnificent views. Descending to the shores of the Sea of Galilee, visit the Mount of Beatitudes and the ruins of the ancient synagogue. Visit Tabgha, where the miracle of the loaves and fishes took place, and then continue to Tiberias for a short tour of the old centre of Jewish learning. Optional boat journey across the Sea of Galilee to experience the tranquility and scenery unchanged over the past 2000 years (Subject to conditions and fee). Return to Tiberias for your overnight stay.

Day 7 | Saturday

Following breakfast head west to Acre (Akko) for a visit to the old famous Crusader stronghold and medieval fortifications. Carry on to Haifa for a panoramic sightseeing tour including the Baha’I Shrine, Persian Garden and Mt Carmel for a view of the city and bay. Continue along the coast to Caesarea to visit the Roman theatre and the Crusader fortress. Complete your day with a short city tour of Tel Aviv and the ancient port city of Jaffa. Jerash - Amman (Jordan)

Day 8 | Sunday

Drive to the Sheikh Hussein border crossing and enter Jordan. From there we will proceed to Jerash - city of the Decapolis, located about 45km north of Amman in the fertile heights of the Gilad. Explore this ancient Roman city with its colonnaded streets, baths and hilltop Temple. Drive to Amman for a panoramic city tour of the Jordanian capital before checking into your hotel in Amman.

Petra (Jordan)

Day 9 | Monday

After an early breakfast depart from the hotel and travel south to Wadi Musa, the modern village of Petra. Ride on horseback to the "Siq" (canyon) and then travel on foot to Petra, known as the red rock city, the ancient capital of the Nabateans from the 3rd century B.C. to the 2nd Century A.D. Visit the iconic sites including the Treasury, El Khazneh (tomb of a Nabatean king), the field of tombs, obelisks, the altar and Al Madhbah from where you can enjoy stubbing views over the whole of the rock city. Return to Wadi Musa village for your overnight stay in Petra.

Madaba - Mt. Nebo (Jordan) - Tel Aviv

Day 10 | Tuesday

Drive north to Madaba to visit the remains of the Byzantine church with its ancient mosaic floor map, the oldest surviving original cartographic depiction of the mosaic map of the Holy Land and Jerusalem. Continue to Mount Nebo, from where Moses viewed the Promised Land, to marvel at the views of the Jordan Valley, Jericho and the Dead Sea. At the end of the day drive back over the border and return to your hotel in Tel Aviv for your final overnight stay.
