Flight into Amman Airport

Day 1 | Sunday

Depart from the UK for your flight to Amman. On arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Amman.

Tour of Amman

Day 2 | Monday

Morning tour of Amman, visiting the Roman Amphitheatre, the Citadel, the Archaeology and Folklore museums, exploring modern and old Amman. Afternoon at leisure with dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay in Amman.

Amman - Dead Sea - Pella - Um Qais - Amman

Day 3 | Tuesday

You will drive to the lowest spot on earth and experience floating on the healing waters of the Dead Sea. From there you will continue northwards to Pella in the Jordan Valley. Go onto Um Qais, Gedara of the Bible for spectacular views of the Sea of Galilee, the Yarmouk River and the Golan Heights. You will return late in the afternoon for an overnight stay in Amman.

Jerash - Ajloun Castle - Amman

Day 4 | Wednesday

You will embark on a late morning tour of the Roman city of Jerash to visit its theatres, temples, churches and colonnaded streets. From there you will continue to Ajloun for a visit to the 12th century Saracen Castle. Overnight stay in Amman.

Madaba - Mt. Nebo - Kerak - Petra

Day 5 | Thursday

You will drive southwards along the King’s Highway to Petra, to visit Madaba, with the oldest map of the Holy Land and its mosaic school, Mount Nebo and the alleged burial site of Moses overlooking the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley. Following this, you will continue driving through the magnificent scenery of Wadi Mujib to Kerak and visit the Crusader Castle en-route. There is a stop here for optional lunch. Overnight in Petra.

Petra With Overnight Stay

Day 6 | Friday

A full day to visit the many sites of Petra, explore the city carved out of the rose-red Sharah Mountains by the Nabateans. Walk through the Siq, a narrow, winding fissure between the cliffs to reach the Treasury, the Roman theatre, the Courts and many other fascinating monuments. There is an optional stop for lunch or you may want to climb to the Monastery. Overnight in Petra.

Wadi Rum - Aqaba & Optional Extension* - Amman

Day 7 | Saturday

Visit the Wadi Rum desert where ‘Lawrence of Arabia’ was filmed for a short 4x4 tour. Drive to Amman with a visit to Aqaba* (if time permits). Overnight in Amman. *Guests who wish to extend their stay in Aqaba can do so at this point of the tour.
