Words cannot really do justice to this extraordinary hotel in Ragusa, Eremo Della Giubiliana has to be experienced first-hand to be fully appreciated. The hotel itself and its estate have an incredibly rich history dating back to the 12th century when it was used as an old Arab home, later a monastery and even a fortress also used by the Knights of the Order of San Giovanni. The building has since been restored into the magnificent hotel that it is today, strictly keeping to the original materials, floorings and furnishings.
