The estate’s origins date back to the mid-19th century when the Leacock family, a renowned name in Madeira still to this day, planted vines and bananas on the 16 acres of land on the estate. The original Manor House has been expertly restored to retain its original look and feel with original pieces of art and furniture and now plays host to suites and the elegant ‘The Dining Room’ restaurant. Quinta da Casa Branca is an amalgamation of immaculately kept gardens, approximately 7 acres, contemporary design and old-world elegance. Rooms and suites are located in the modern property of the Quinta and there are 5 suites located in the Manor House. The hotel also has a separate villa.
