Hotel PortoBay Santa Maria
Hotel PortoBay Santa Maria is a quaint 4-star hotel that is located on the seafront, offering magnificent views of the sea and the cruise liner harbour, as well as affording guests direct access to the seafront promenade. The hotel is also situated in the heart of Funchals historic centre, the Old Town, allowing guests to explore the surrounding historic buildings and sites, and get a real sense of Funchals culture and fabric. The hotel itself is an Adult Only hotel and the hotel has a very calm vibe. There is an indoor and outdoor pool, 3 Jacuzzis, and a spa centre, as well as numerous locations throughout the hotel and its restaurants and bars to enjoy views of the deep blue Atlantic Ocean. With only 146 rooms, the Hotel PortoBay Santa Maria has a more intimate feel and serves as a relaxing base from which to explore the old and new parts of Funchal and the rest of Madeira.
